Tyler Seguin (born January 31, 1992) is a Canadian professional ice hockey centre of theNHL. He was a draft pick of the Bruins, selected second overall in the 2010 NHL Entry Draft.
Tyler Seguin made his NHL debut with the Boston Bruins on October 9, 2010. Seguin notched his first NHL goal with the Bruins on October 10, 2010.At the beginning of December 2010 comparison was made between Tyler Seguin's emerging style of play with the Bruins, and the rookie year of the Tampa Bay Lightning's star forward Steven Stamkos, who was the leading goal scorer in the NHL at the time, in how it was developing. Tyler Seguin is the first teenager to score 4 points in a NHL playoff game since Trevor Linden in 1989. On June 15, 2011 Seguin and his Boston Bruin teammates captured the Stanley Cup, defeating the Vancouver Canucks 4-0 in game 7.On November 14th 2011, Seguin was named the NHL's 'First Star of the Week' for an impressive week in which he posted 4 goals and 2 assists and helped the Bruins to 3 wins.
